This song inspired me to imagine what exactly a Crystal Meth Christian is. I think of it as a person who does the exact same things that everyone else does, but thinks of themselves as better because of their faith. When in reality you can’t see that faith in anything they do. They act the same, treat people the same, do the same shit, and judge everyone else who does it because they’re “faithless”. ”You take a diamond make it sand, you think that you’re superior.”

I believe in God, and the person described in this song is someone I constantly fear I’ll turn into. It’s nice to be able to give my fear a name.

Arrested Development is the absolute perfect television show.

I know plenty of amazing TV shows. Some of them start off a little inconsistent, or start of great and run out of ideas, or just hit a dry spell and then start knocking it out of the part. Arrested Development is 100% amazing from the beginning of season 1 to the end of season 3. There are running jokes and references connecting every single episode to each other. The many main characters undergo subtle changes and are all fully developed. It’s incredibly intelligently written, and absolutely hilarious. I cannot explain to you how happy this show makes me. I have never seen anything like it, and I never will again. Well, at least until the movie follow-up season and the movie (hopefully) comes out next year.
